Prepare the referral. Record that you made it.
Child Protect helps your safeguarding team prepare a clear, minimal-disclosure referral pack for outside agencies and keeps a permanent record of every referral. Your school makes the report to the agency.
Quick answer
Does Child Protect report to the police or government for us?
No. Child Protect does not send reports to any agency. It prepares a referral pack as a PDF letter and summary for police, MSDHS 1300, social services, the Ministry of Education or an embassy. Your staff send or hand it over, then record the referral in a permanent log. The school or organisation remains responsible for contacting the agency.
The referral pack
A short letter and summary for the agency, built from the case. You decide what goes in.
You choose what is included
Tick whether to include the child’s name and details, the child’s own words, details of the person alleged to be involved, and who reported the concern.
What is never included
Internal notes, evidence files and the audit trail are never part of the pack.
Thai or English
Generate the pack in the language the agency needs.
Agencies you can prepare for
Police
For crimes and immediate danger. Call 191 in an emergency.
MSDHS child protection (1300)
The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security Social Assistance Centre helpline, which receives reports of child abuse, neglect and exploitation, 24 hours.
Social services and child protection offices

Ministry of Education
For concerns that involve a school or its staff.
Embassy or consulate
For foreign national children.
Other agency
Any other organisation.
The permanent referral log
Every referral is recorded with the agency, the date and time, how it was made, their reference number, what was shared and who recorded it. Entries are append-only and cannot be edited, so you can show your school’s response later.
Who can use it
School administrators and safeguarding leads record referrals and generate packs. Investigators and auditors can view the log. Staff who only report concerns do not see it.
Emergency numbers
In an emergency call the police on 191. For a medical emergency call 1669. The MSDHS Social Assistance Centre helpline is 1300, available 24 hours. Check official sources for current numbers: Thai government guide to important phone numbers and UNICEF Thailand on the 1300 helpline.
