MOE Safety Center and school safeguarding software

The MOE Safety Center is the Ministry of Education's channel for reporting safety incidents in Thai schools, through its app, website, LINE account (@MOESafetyCenter) and call centre. Child Protect Platform works alongside it: the school keeps its own complete, accountable record of each concern, the evidence and what was done, and can prepare the information a Ministry report needs.

Quick answer

What is the MOE Safety Center?

The MOE Safety Center is the Thai Ministry of Education's channel for reporting safety incidents in schools. Students, teachers, parents and the public can report violence, accidents, rights violations and hazards to physical or mental health through four channels, and Ministry staff follow up and coordinate help around the clock. It is a reporting channel run by the Ministry. It is not a school's own case-management system.

How a school can use both

1
Record the concern in the school's own system

The safeguarding lead opens a case in Child Protect so the facts, evidence and decisions are kept from the first moment.

2
Report to the MOE Safety Center when the situation calls for it

The school, or the person affected, uses the app, website, LINE or call centre. Child Protect does not submit reports to the Ministry or any agency; the school remains responsible for making the report.

3
Prepare what a report needs

Child Protect builds a minimal-disclosure referral pack from the case so the school shares only what is necessary.

4
Log what was sent and what happened next

The referral is recorded permanently in the case, with the outcome, so the school can show what it did and when.

Traffy EDU: a second Ministry channel

In August 2026 the Government announced Traffy EDU as a digital channel for students, parents, teachers and education staff to report bullying, violence, sexual harassment, drug and mental-health problems so they reach the responsible agency quickly. It is built on the Traffy Fondue technology that Bangkok already uses for city complaints. Like the MOE Safety Center, it is a Ministry reporting channel; schools still need their own record of how they responded.

Common questions

Does Child Protect report to the MOE Safety Center for us?

No. Child Protect does not submit reports to the MOE Safety Center, the police, MSDHS or any other agency. It helps the school prepare the information and records what the school sent.

Is the MOE Safety Center a replacement for a school safeguarding system?

No. It is a Ministry channel for reporting incidents. A school still needs its own confidential record of each concern, the evidence and its response.

How do I contact the MOE Safety Center?

Through its app, www.MOESafetyCenter.com, LINE @MOESafetyCenter or the call centre on 0 2126 6565. In an emergency call 191 (police) or 1669 (medical).
