Who is Child Protect built for?
Child Protect is built for schools, safeguarding teams, school leaders, and education groups that need a secure way to record concerns, manage cases, preserve evidence, and control access.
Why Child Protect exists
Schools handle some of the most sensitive information in an education setting. When concerns, case notes, attachments, and follow-up actions are spread across email, informal messages, or folders, it becomes harder to see what happened, who acted, what evidence exists, and who should have access. Child Protect was created to give safeguarding teams a dedicated place to record, review, preserve, and oversee this work.
Who it is built for
The platform is designed for schools, safeguarding leads, school leadership teams, and multi-school groups that need structured reporting, controlled visibility, evidence preservation, and a reliable audit history. It supports day-to-day safeguarding work while leaving professional judgment, policy decisions, and statutory responsibilities with the school and its safeguarding team.
What makes the platform different
Child Protect focuses on safeguarding workflows rather than generic ticketing. It connects concerns, cases, evidence, actions, user roles, and review history in one secure platform. This helps teams reduce reliance on personal inboxes, keep sensitive records in context, and support continuity when staff roles change.
How schools can use it
A school can use Child Protect to receive concerns, manage case activity, preserve evidence, separate access by role, support leadership oversight, and maintain a clearer record of decisions and actions. Education groups can use multi-school oversight while keeping each school’s cases and users separated.
Our approach to trust
Child Protect is not a substitute for safeguarding professionals, school policies, or legal advice. It is a secure operating platform that helps schools handle records and evidence more carefully, consistently, and transparently.

What we believe
The school stays in charge. Child Protect gives safeguarding teams a controlled place to work; professional judgment, policy and statutory duties stay with the school. Share only what is needed. Referral packs are minimal-disclosure by design. Everything is accountable. Each action is recorded, so a school can show what it knew, when and what it did. Training and response belong together. Children who know how to ask for help need a school that is ready to respond.

Common questions
Who is Child Protect built for?
Child Protect is built for schools, safeguarding teams, school leaders, and education groups that need a secure way to record concerns, manage cases, preserve evidence, and control access.
Does Child Protect replace safeguarding procedures?
No. Child Protect supports safeguarding workflows and record keeping, but schools remain responsible for their own policies, professional decisions, and escalation procedures.
Why does Child Protect focus on evidence and audit history?
Safeguarding records often need careful review over time. Evidence preservation and audit history help schools understand what was reported, what was added, who accessed information, and what actions were taken.
How the platform supports safeguarding teams
Child Protect is designed around structured safeguarding workflows: staff can report concerns, authorised safeguarding leads can review and triage, evidence can be attached to the correct record, and follow-up notes remain connected to the case history.
The platform supports responsible school processes. It does not replace professional safeguarding judgement, emergency response, local policy, legal advice, or statutory reporting obligations.
What schools should expect from Child Protect
Schools should expect a practical application for recording and managing safeguarding information, not a generic helpdesk or shared folder. The focus is case context, controlled access, evidence handling, audit history, and oversight across one or more schools.
For training, Child Protect is also building online safety learning paths for students, parents, caregivers, and school communities. Those course pages should be re-analysed again once the real videos, transcripts, and certificates are uploaded.
